betsygee betsygee your cat one is a gem. Who made it?
Love the Paul Lewins and 500 is a lot more doable.

This is the jigsaw I was talking about in the last post.. it was huge and great fun. My friend and I just finished it.

These are a couple of the cats within the cats:

We couldn't work out which cat this was and decided that it was a joke and that it was a cat licking its bottom:

Then we realised it was the butterfly. :flail:

Nice! I thought cat butt washing too. :lol2: I ordered my kids a 300 piece puzzle to keep them busy while we wait for Christmas. It should be here tomorrow. I got them a 100 piece one and I don’t know what I was thinking beyond “Christmas and Cats” because they finished it in less than 20 minutes. :paperbag:

I had a friend down for the day and we decided to do this 750 piece I picked up at an Op Shop many years ago.
Unfortunately there was one piece missing.
There were two initially, but I found one under the lip of a cat dish.

Not the type I normally do, but we both enjoyed it.

After six months of no jigsaw puzzles, I am hoping to start one this week. I have a Ravensburger and A White Mountain that I am just dying to do. I just finished the board that I hope will protect puzzle from Lola rolling or walking on it. It is foam board with an raised edge all around made to fit the largest puzzles I do, 27 x 30. Don’t know yet if I will use it edge down to cover a puzzle in progress or edge up, making the puzzle inside it. But it seems sturdy enough and easy to move around either way.

This is the one I made... it's lasted a couple of years so far, even with cat-sitting. It's a very lightweight plastic board with stuff from the hardware that's used to help soundproof rooms. It has a grip to it. It cost me about $14US including the glue.

Now that’s an unusual and rewarding puzzle! i used to have quite a collection but then the boy stray we’d just adopted dug into them and peed. plan to start over but harder to find intriguing images!
