I virtually never give up on a puzzle, but I just did with my 1500 one.. there was a lot of sky, and, because of the size of the puzzle it was playing havoc with my back trying to stretch over the puzzle to get to it. I was half way through, too, but decided it just wasn't worth it. :(
I don’t blame you, I would have quit on that one too.

I have only done this once before but this fun puzzle I have been working on went unfinished and straight into the trash. It was, as most of mine are, a used puzzle and I have in the past been fortunate that at most a piece or two have been missing. I knew early on this puzzle was missing at least one piece because an edge piece was missing but as I got farther along, not only was it missing quite a few pieces but I also had some pieces that didn’t go with this puzzle. It just wasnt worth the time or effort to finish it.
I put the puzzle pieces in a zip lock bag before putting it back in the box so all the pieces are there when I donate them.
