I am feeling like a puzzle slug. My current one is taking way too long and I absolutely needed the table to do some fabric cutting for my shop. So it’s on a board under the bed and will stay there until I get the sewing caught up.

I've been puzzle slacking, started on the Elements one but there's only 2 types of pieces which fit together very loosely and all black border means I can't tell what really goes where! Super frustrating. I finally gave up and started working the interior as most of those will have pattern to prove they really go together. I also broke my glasses last week so working with contacts or an old pair means puzzling is out for the most part unless I want a migraine.

I did finally finish the one I was working on but it wasn’t that enjoyable - just fit the pieces in as fast as I could, finish it and take it apart. No pics.

Here's my latest.. they don't photograph well where I do them.. too much glare on one side.
This ticked all the boxes.. not too hard or easy, bright and cheerful, good mix of shapes.

I really need to start doing jigsaws again. I went from moving, to being really tired, and now I've got a nanny job for the summer. But I could at least be working slowly.

Just had to share this picture of the Springbok puzzle I just finished. It has to be one of my most favorite ever. The image is a 1950’s magazine rack and it was so fun to see all the real comic and magazine titles from that era, and how we were entertained in the past.

I'm a little bit disappointed, I decided to make a start on this 4000 piece beauty and found that the two halves of the puzzle don't match so have put it on hold until I hear back from Heye

susanm9006 susanm9006 - it is rather, what's worse is people have been telling me it's normal for large puzzle to be a bit off
A bit off from the picture, occasionally. An entirely different theme? Nope. I hope you sent them your picture. It might help if you did research to see which of their puzzles the second image is from.

Both halves are from the same puzzle but the bags they came in have different batch codes so guessing the just put a wrong half in the box. Have sent them everything so hopefully they can fix it.

mani mani - love that puzzle it's so cute.

Heye got back to me and said as the larger puzzles are cut in two separate bits they allow a 4mm difference between the two sides so as long as it's within that range and the pieces fit then it was considered a good cut. I've not been feeling too great so haven't done much with the puzzle and Ben and Bruce constantly knocking it off the table isn't helping but hoping to get working on it properly again soon.

It's a shame as Heye is meant to be one of the good ones. (the cat one I just did is a Heye).

Oh dear... that jigsaw has definitely been catified. :(
