Is this kitten any breed?

Anyone know if this a specifc breed of cat? Adopted a rescue off Facebook. We don’t even know if it’s a boy or girl, we have an appointment with a vet in 2 weeks. We’re pretty sure its a boy.

Hi and welcome to TCS. I sincerely doubt your adorable kitty is of any particular breed other than a bi-colored domestic short hair. Especially considering s/he is a rescue and doesn't have pedigree papers. S/he is nonetheless very cute!

He or she looks like a dsh bicolor to me with maybe a harlequin pattern and possible oriental ancestry due to her face shape and almond shape eyes pointing towards her ears. What a cutie it is probably just kitten fuzz but she could end up a medium hair with lh genetics, especially if her tail has longer hair.

Thank you! This is the feedback I was hoping for. We like cats but we’re not feline experts. I wasn’t thinking I’d picked up a rare papered breed, I was just hoping someone could help identify some traits like oriental ancestry and hair length. He/she does have a seemingly long tail and is pretty fuzzy but it could be bc it’s a kitten. Either way, it’s super sweet and my kids are over the moon.
