Picture posted below. I have a pregnant foster cat who started having a light green discharge 24-36 hours ago. I figured she was losing her mucus plug when I first noticed it but it seems like it’s been going on for quite a while. It’s not coming out consistently but I’ve seen it 3-5 times before she licks it away. Other than the discharge she’s not having any other symptoms besides usual nesting behavior. My question is, have you had a pregnant cat today with this discharge for a few days prior to giving birth and had no birthing complications/infection? I’m be emailed the vet and am waiting for a response but wanted to check here to see if anyone has had this happen before and what the outcome was. I’ve fostered multiple pregnant cats in the past and have never seen the plug (if that’s what it is) take this long to come out.
