This is Ariel, she's a rescue. We got her June 11, 2020, had her spayed in August, 2020. We got her when she wasn't ready to leave her mom, but they said they couldn't find the mom. She wasn't focusing well yet and was a little clumsy, so I was assuming she was about 4 weeks at that time. Within a week or so, her aim and physical prowess increased fast with deadly accuracy, she's a mouser or anything that moves. She can jump from the floor to the counter that's as high as my waist and she's very "hunt, attack, play" ALL the time. I do as much as I can to help her burn all that energy she always has or she'll start trying to play fight me roughly. She brings blood. The picture of her lying on the floor is when she just finished burning off some of that energy.
Sadly, she's not a lap cat, but she will lay on the bottom on my chair when I have the foot up and will sleep at my feet or behind my legs. Can't hold her or handle her too much, though, so when she's on the counter begging for "treats", that's when I'm able to love on her. I just can't pick her up unless I'm quick about it and protect my hands. She will bite, but she's still sweet when she wants petting.
When I took her to the traveling vet for shots, she said she looked asybinian. Also, her hair is white up against her body, it might not look like it, but it's so white, it almost looks clear. She has a beautiful coat with such pretty colors.
So do you guys think she has some asybinian in her? I've heard they don't get along with other cats. Is this true? I don't want to get another cat if she's not going to get along with it. Thanks for any information you can give me.
