I adopted Oliver nearly two weeks ago. He is now around 14 weeks old. He is identified as a Domestic Short Hair.
This morning I took him to the vet for his exam and vaccinations. I forget if it was the vet or the tech who commented that he looks part Maine Coon. Personally I don't see it but I'm including pics to let others be the judge. Also his weight was around 3.5 lbs this morning.

So as you can tell by the last two images, the reason I'm skeptical about him having Maine Coon traits is that he doesn't have the bushy tail common with such cats.

I don't see it personally but it matters not as he is a real sweetheart. Maybe the vet saw some lookalike trait that could develop over time but at the moment it's a no from me.
By the way, he must be a great cat because he's called Oliver. ;)

He is very cute! I don't see any Maine Coon in him, either. Maine Coons are longhaired cats, and they have a more square face, whereas your baby has more of a wedge-shaped head. I would describe Oliver as a blue ticked tabby Domestic Shorthair.

Yeah, nice blue ticked tabby coloring and pattern. Not that common.
