Is my kitten a boy or a girl?

Hi I already have a girly cat & I just got this new kitten! Just wondering on sex?

How old is the kitten? It can be hard to tell with young kittens, especially with furry bottoms. From the first picture I'd say girl, but the other pictures could go either way. You may have to wait a few weeks to be sure.

I think it's a boy! The bare patch on the tail is what's confusing, but if you look closely (3rd picture is clearest), you can see his penile opening all the down in the black/white split area.

Be sure to have the female spayed before he reaches sexual maturity (around 5 months) and have him neutered around that age too, and there shouldn't be any problems .
