Is my cat's neuter incision infected? (warning: gross picture)

Hi! My kitten got neutered yesterday and he keeps licking the wound. To be fair he's always groomed himself a lot so it might not be more than that he grooms himself. I'm just worried because I think it might be infected. We tried to make him wear that think around his neck and we tried an animal shirt but he gets himself out of those things in a split second.. He eats and plays just like the usual.

When in doubt contact the place that neutered him and ask questions.
And I just got my cat spayed and the paper that comes with all cats and dogs that are neutered or spayed mentions that it's important not to allow the pet to lick the incision site because it can cause an infection.
So if he's been licking, and frequently at that, then I'd include that information to said recommended vet call.

It looks OK if things haven't changed, and licking is normal, but maybe you need to ask the vet for a better fitted collar or something.
