I dont’t know if my new kitty is russian blue or some sort of mix?

The overall looks could pass for a young rb of very pet quality, of the european type.

However, if you dont have any other proofs or indicies, presume he is a sweet solid blue shorthaired domestic.

He looks like he's got some Russian Blue in him, but as StefanZ said, he's likely a domestic shorthair with some RB ancestors.

What a beauty likelihood unless you know his background, etc., is domestic short hair blue, however, I agree he looks to have features of purebred Russian blue… one of my friends on Facebook has a purebred Russian blue and he has some similarities… so as they say pet quality or some possible ancestry.
