Is my cat a regular DSH?

Hello. This is Obi age 7.5 months Is he a regular DSH? I was just wondering about his face shape and if it is 'normal' (long nose and big ears) as looks nothing like my friends / families cats!

Yes, he is a DSH. I believe he is an orange striped tabby. Most orange cats are male & most orange cats are striped since the chromosome for orange & striped is the same.

Yeah.  Although he seems not striped, but he is a marbled.  I dont see clearly the bulls eye, but he has clearly marbles.

I know all reds are always tabby.  But you are telling - they are mandatory striped tabbies?  Mackerel in american cat fancy usage?

IF so, it should mean, non striped red tabbies, alike  marbled or spotted, do have this gene for real, not because they are red but for real?

"Marbled" refers to the pattern of markings on the cat's side.
