This week, the fire alarm breaks out 3 times already in my apartment. My apartment seriously has a problem with fire alarm. They said that they are continuously working on it, but nothing improved. Anyway, the alarm is very loud that I can't really stand on, so I had to put an ear plug. I know I suppose to go out, but I am having an extremely hard time picking up my cat (she is like a feral cat), and also I don't want to leave her alone, so I usually look at outside to see what's going on before I decide to do so.

My question is that if this continuous alarm would hurt my cat's hearing gradually? I know I am not the only one own pets so same thing applies to other pets. But seriously, I am started to worry if this would make my cat deaf. So far, she seems like she hears me.

Thanks,

No I don't think this will medically affect your cat's hearing but it may stress him out just like it may stress you out.  Hopefully you can get this fixed soon.
