Is coconut cream dangerous for cats?

So I was just eating a bowl of cereal with coconut cream, just as I finishing my phone rang and I had to take it. 5 min later I come back, and my cat has his head in the bowl and is licking the coconut cream residue. Should I be worried?

In small amounts, there should be no issues. If your cat had eaten a lot, it may cause some runny poo, but it does not seem to be the case here.

Coconut isn't toxic to cats. But the high fat content might upset their stomachs. They should be fine
