I read about these treat mats today and thought I would post some information for anyone who has a cat, (or dog), that is home alone for long hours or for a calming effect. IQ Treat Mats™ Calm - Hyper Pet

Theoretically it is like filling a Kong with a soft food and freezing it and then giving it to your dog. I suppose that it is okay but I would want to know that the dog or cat was not going to eat the mat, especially if unsupervised. My current GSD does not like Kongs, but I don't know anyone who leaves their dog alone with one all day.

Our shepherd didn't care for kongs either. After eating the treats I think he would have probably tossed the mat like a frisbee. 🥏
