invisible fence for cats?

My two cats love the outdoor and they mostly stay within our backyard. But the once a while bird sometimes entice them to the front yard and even try to cross the street a couple of times.

I know there is invisible fence for dogs, has anyone used it for cats?

I knew a Lady in Germany she had many cats and let them out in her back yard . But she had a electric wired fence . I meet her at a Dr. visit while waiting there . She told me that it is not a lot of volt for the cats to actualy hurt them , just enough for them not to like going near the fence . Sorry no help here .
