Hey my name is Zach. I am 27 years old. I am a cat behavior consultant, veterinary technician and an autism specialist. I also am diagnosed with autism and major depressive disorder so that has made it harder to function in today's world. Nonetheless I have done pretty well for myself. I publish my first book at the end of the year about working in rescue - and living with autism in general. Took so long to finish since I volunteer many hours at the rescue, around 80-120 per week. I worked at a shelter for years before going to vet tech school and eventually opening up my own cat rescue with a dear friend of mine. I am crazy about Siamese cats and Ragdoll cats but my favorite cat has always been the stray cat that silently asks for help. Our rescue focuses on cats with special needs, illness or medical condition, and so on. We experience more loss as a special needs rescue but we also see a ton of happy endings. I have four cats - all came to me with behavior problems.
