Ch Sequoia Walk on the Ocean aka Duke. Hubby bonded with him instantly when we went to look. I on the other hand, fell for the 4 month old puppy. She was the most beautiful collie I have ever seen! The only reason the breeder wasn’t keeping her to show is her sister is just a tiny bit better. She offered a package deal but I didn’t want to spend that much. Duke is a sweetheart. I just have to get used to navigating around a big dog again. IMG_0849.jpeg IMG_0853.jpeg IMG_0854.jpeg

I'm so happy for your husband and you. Duke is precious, is he a blue merle? I hope he brings both of you much happiness. :heartshape:

I have heard of Sequoia Collies before!!! I can't extend enough congratulations, he is absolutely beautiful!!
Also, getting a dog that's a champion will more than likely mean he is so bombproof with so many situations and sounds. I am so happy for you and wish you, your husband and Duke many happy years together.

How is he settling in?
Other than not being able to walk him right now because of the heat, humidity and my afib, he is settling in well. We make the rounds of our 3/4 acre yard several times. That way I can get inside in the cool if I start feeling bad. He at times thinks he is a lap dog. A HEAVY lap dog!
