New lights shining into the bedroom? I had that in one apartment that I really loved. It backed onto a school bus parking facility, and on the side facing my other bedroom window was another nice building, with mounted floodlights. I didn't know about foil then, or about bubble wrap, so my solution at the time was putting a really thick fleece throw up there. It worked.
