Someone I know has got a new partner, and the new man is allergic to cats. So she has had to get rid the cat.
Personally, I would have got rid of the partner in a heartbeat without a second thought. But that's me. She loved the cat a lot and wanted him to go to a good home.
Naturally the cat distribution system was activated and my two Burmese have been joined by a 3 year old British short hair tomcat called "bean".
So say hi to Bean. He's very nervous and spending a lot of time hiding under the sofa. My 6 KG Burmese tomcat is terrified of him despite the fact that he's a very gentle little lad and my 2.5 KG female Burmese wants him dead. So it's going to take a little time.But Bean now has a huge house to play in and a family that will keep him safe and won't ever give up on him.
