Omg. I had three bears too! Grizzly, Mountain and Kodiak. Originally there were five. Panda and Grizzly suffered at human hands before I could get them. I fought to keep Grizzly going but eventually lost the battle. Black bear had been separated from the others but months later I found that he had been adopted by another Mom kitty and I did get him. He socialized and got adopted. That left Mountain and Kodiak. Kodiak was also accepted at a shelter for adoption but when the shelter director was changed and the shelter became full, she was at risk. I managed to reclaim her just in time. Kodiak and Mountain now live with me. Their Mom Goldilocks was rescued in time along with their Dad. This story really hit home with me. Thank you for posting it. Beautiful timing for me.
