In search of travel sized litter box (for pine pellets)

My cat uses pine pellets in her litter box. We love to travel, but it is a pain to pack the litter box and sifter tray. Is there a more portable option? There are several portable options for regular kitty litter, but not pine pellets. Wanted to know if you had any ideas.

I would get a low sided Rubbermaid container with a lid, in the size you want. If you get one the size of a cardboard flat that canned goods are shipped on, available at any liquor or food store, you could use those to be to be disposable when they get bad.
