IMG_0323.JPG I'm cat sitting this cutie Ragdoll for a colleague for a day. It's a tester for when my friend goes away for longer in July. He's called Ivor and is six months old.
He's been here for just a few minutes as I type and the early signs are good. He's not hiding at the moment and is walking around exploring. He's very friendly and cuddly.

Ragdolls are known for their friendly easy going nature.

They also often "flop" into your lap. Some say ragdolls have a dog like personality.

Google them to learn more about ragdolls, its quite interesting.

    Enjoy your time together.

He's gone home now and I was very impressed with him. He didn't hide once and behaved as if he owned the place.
He wasn't phased by my others either. At one point Ivor was on one of the stairs and Oliver positioned himself on the step below just a couple of inches away. Oliver was growling at him but Ivor just stayed put and ignored him.
He also let anyone pick him up without squirming so this little fellow lived up to the laid back nature of the breed.

@mightyboosh - Nice cover story. Where'd ya stash Ivor, and what did you tell your colleague?

He looks like he'll be a big ragdoll, going by the size of him at 6 months. Dudley was that kind of size at six months and is now, at 2 years old, well over 7kg/16lbs. Whereas, Parker has always been mini and (fingers crossed) won't suddenly have a growth spurt any time soon. He's one year old and, although the size of an average cat, looks mini next to Dudley, which is very sweet. Little and Large.

@mightyboosh - That story will never play. If Moo Shu's own people wouldn't take her back, the Ragdoll's outta the question.

Ok, plan B then. I'll say he was taken by an Opossum even though we have none here. She should buy that. Ivor turned ginger by the way. Must be the stress.

I've got Ivor again for a few days but he's a bit more wary than the first time. He's semi-hiding in the front room at the moment.

@mightyboosh - Hey - don't look at me. I haven't allowed Moo Shu to use the telephone since that unfortunate incident with Kim Jong-un.

Although I trust you and I know you are well meaning, are you sure that Moo Shu has had absolutely no access to the phone? What about when you're asleep?

I forgot I had this little vid of Ivor. Oliver and Chubchub were not impressed.
