This site is so cool!! I find myself logging in every day for more information.

I have a difficult question to be specific but here goes. I was wondering what the ideal weight for my cat would be. He is a mixed breed male, just over 4 years old. His is a big cat (as in size, not fat) and I very conscious of his weight. His home page on your site has pictures, but the first is at 3.5 months the second at 6 weeks and the third at 3 years (but you can't see all of him).

Can you help?

Jacqui

Well, your page is still in reveiw. SO I can't look. However, generally neutered male cats can be anywhere from 12 to 15 lbs. However if he has maine coon, then a possible 18lbs is okay. Cats vary and the best way to tell is if they have large pouches, they are overweight. You can usually tell the flab from just bulk. I hope this helps a little.

That does help, thank you Sandie. I'd say he's pretty much on target!
