My cat developed red eyes and bleeding along with lot of eye mucous. I tried triple antibiotic cream from walmart for a couple of bucks. Now hes doing much better. May not work on your cat but it did wonders for mine. Just wanted to post this in case anyone is in a bind. Thanks!

OTC triple antibiotic first aid ointment for people are not meant to be used in any eyes. Your cat may be fine now but I'd keep a close watch on the cat and eyes and bring the cat to a vet if the eye issue recurs or other eye issues develop.
