Hi everyone.

My 20 month old Jiggy came for some cuddles and I noticed bald/light patches around her mouth. There is no redness at all; is this normal? Or am I just being paranoid? I know darker fur makes the skin more apparent as opposed to light fur but just wanted to know if I should be concerned.

I am not a vet, but it could be fleas, or skin allergies, or several other possible reasons. Yes, please take her to the vet to make sure and to apply appropriate medication.

Been dealing with a bit of chin acne that looks somewhat similar, I've been cleaning the area a few times a day with vetisyn sprayed on a cotton pad, seems to be working.

Thank you for all your replies. I booked her into the vet for tomorrow. She's fully wormed and flea' d so I'm curious as to what it is.
