I'm absolutely thrilled that little Helen is comfortable enough in our home to play and "talk", but I wish she'd shut up at night. She's been running around till 2am, talking around a mouthful of toy/sock/mitten for over a week now......
So my plan is to take away the toy, and tell her "Shhh" each time she's loud when the lights are out.
Will it confuse her if I let her talk in the day and not at night, or will she be able to clue in that "lights out" means quiet time?
I'd appreciate any suggestions, especially since we just transitioned from FOSTER to ADOPTIVE family....
