I Need Help!

Okay, so I have two cats: one isn't very sociable but it's very clean and cute, and the other one is SUPER SWEET but latelly she's having some problems.
It isn't just the fact that she "meows" a lot, she doesn't pee or poop inside the box. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
My mum wants to give her away, but me and my sisters don't want to. PLEASE SEE THIS!

Has the cat always done this or has it started happening recently?

The general rule of thumb is one kitty litter box per cat plus one. You have two cats, you need three boxes.

The litter boxes need to be cleaned at least once a day.

They need to be out of the high traffic areas of your house.

Thank you for your reply.
It's a bit difficult to find a place where there isn't much traffic, because we are 6 people! 4 kids running around the house... but still, we put it were there isn't too much noise I think...
About their relationship, they can be cuddling or angry with each other but that's rare, they usually are very friendly.
It has started recently, she has done this once a long time ago, but it was just for like 3 days.

Are they spayed? And multiple boxes in multiple places plus multiple cat tree/perches works ... good luck
