I just took my first Pilates class.

WOW.

Now, I've been doing yoga and some strength exercises with small hand weights. But this was.....intense!!
I used muscles I never knew existed!!


Any pilates fans out there? If so, how often do you do it, and has it helped you?

Not in a class at the moment since it didn't fit into the work schedule this session, but I love pilates. The first few classes, I was always sitting there going..."agh, apparently that's a muscle..." but it was great for my flexibility. My DH has back problems and found it worked wonders for him. It really helped his lower back and stopped him from getting sore while working. He really can't wait to sign up again. Generally we'd go twice a week.
