I don’t know. An x-ray at the vet would show gestational age of the kittens, but otherwise it could be a few days. We don’t really know how far along she is, but she sounds closer to the end.

It usually means her milk is starting to come in. This means she is likely within a week of giving birth. Can you post a picture?

Probably in the middle of the night. How many are there? Are they all nursing well?

Is it normal for her to be breathing extremely heavy and panting still

Nursing is hard work, and can cause heavy breathing as she adjusts; however, the panting is often caused by low calcium, which can be very dangerous and cause seizures and even death. So give her a dish of kitten formula every day. If you have none on hand, give her some milk right away. She needs the calcium and the milk should help, but you’ll need to buy a can of powdered PetAg kitten formula ASAP. Cow’s milk can cause diarrhea as cats are lactose intolerant.

What do you mean? Do you have anything in the house to give her? She needs milk now.

Good to hear! You cannot keep giving her milk though. You need to buy kitten formula tomorrow. :)
