I want to make some beef tips, and this recipe looks pretty good, with one exception--the worstershire sauce. I do not like it, mainly because I know it has anchovies in it, which grosses me out. Target sells a vegan worstershire sauce without anchovies that I have tried before, but it still has a strong taste, and using 1/4 of a cup in a recipe is quite a bit. My question is, would it work to replace all or maybe half of the worstershire sauce with A1 sauce--specifically A1 Thick and Hearty? I love A1 sauce, along with the rest of my family, but I am afraid that it would make it taste weird. What do you think? By the way, I plan to replace two of the cups of water with beef broth (to make it less bland), if that makes a difference. Also, I am probably going to have to double the recipe, so that would change things.
