I'm finally able to post pictures of The Cat Room, I'm still missing Blacky, things are so different without him.
Sammy is living in the Cat Room, Life is a bit easier for me with him not having to go in the garage at night.
I still have to take him to the garage before coming into the house, Cats and their routines.
Oh my goodness, I am finally able to brush Walli! and Sammy is starting to play!
I was playing with Sammy one day with the wand toy and I touched Walli's back with it and she liked it!
So I started scrubbing her back with it oh my goodness! She had a huge hair Matt and she is very Feral
I did not want to take her to the vet but I was prepared to try and trap her. The next day I taped a brush to
a long wooden dowel and started brushing her every day! It took me 3 weeks to work on that Matt and finally got it
all of it off the other day. it was so large. I did not notice with everything going on with Blacky and my personal life.
It seems she is getting closer to me, still can't pet her yet and maybe never will but I'm so glad I didn't have to take her to
the vet, she would of been so stressed it would of taken her into a urinary stress problem.
Sammy is starting to become a Momma's boy. Joey is still separated but is able to hang by their door without the view being blocked.
I still have hope for him, but I don't trust him.
life has been so hectic, but getting thorough ok!
oh my goodness I'm finally posting the pics of the cat room!
The hole in the window is the Exit to the Catio

Wonderful update! Glad that Walli’s getting use to you and letting you groom her and Sammy is playing. Guess it’s paying off.

Beautiful cat room!

I have used my hand twice using that method now I even used a regular brush on her today just for a bit. I’m gonna take it slow. I think we’re headed somewhere here.!!!

Wowee! I have been petting Walli, I don't know yet if she knows it's my hand
because I start with the brush, I can now use a brush without it being on the wooden dowel.
I brush her and then I use my hand and pet her body and then her head, she loves the scratching of the head!!
I think her fur is the softest it has ever been, still getting lots of hair everyday. she loves it.
I'm still a bit afraid of her as I have been swatted by her, she has severely sharp claws.

Rubysmama so sorry about Ruby!!! I love orange cats
My Tigger of 20 years was soooo special to me, I'm sure Ruby was very special
sorry I haven't kept up with the forum, I didn't know!
W walli : Thank you for your kinds words. It's exactly 3 months tonight since I lost her. She was my sweetie girl, and I miss her terribly, but I am still happy she shared most of her life with me.

Did you lose Tigger recently? Twenty years is a really long time, but no matter how long you have them, it's still never long enough.

Walli loves to be pet and scritched!
I have been brushing her everyday and I'm even petting her on the head!
She loves her head being scratched, I caught her purring a couple times.
I'm still careful with her, any sudden moves and she is on alert.
I reread through this entire thread!
Oh my goodness what an Adventure!
I even found a few tips that were given that I'm going to readdress
one thing being putting Joey on a harness to introduce him to Sammy
and Move Wallis food to make her feel more comfortable in different areas.
I wish I would of remembered those.
going to take it slow with the Harness but this is perfect.
There is a bowl of water on the floor away from Walli's usual water bowl and she
started coming down to drink there, that makes total sense! she is getting more comfortable!

There had been some bad advice from vets that I'm so glad I ignored.
The vet told me I would have to block Joey's view to the other cats forever.
2 days after he said that I removed all view blocks and he is doing so much better!
sometimes he is nice at the door, but a lot of times he stands up at their door
I guess trying to get big. It is definitely an aggressive move.
Sammy is so chill he just looks at him most times.
sometimes if the move is too aggressive he backs up.
Going to take the introduction super slo mo!
Walli is making progress right now and that is the priority
Reading through this thread again has shown me how much help
and support everyone has been, I could not have gotten through
some very big problems without you all.
Feral cats are very hard but their lives on the street are very hard too!
I wish I was younger and emotionally stronger to be a part of the Feral rescue community
but It's too hard!
So Thank you all for being a part of my life!
I will keep updating their process

I just love that Walli is coming along well and adjusting to indoor life. I hope Joey also improves.

Thanks for the update!

Thank you I can’t wait to try the harness when I introduce them, but I need to give Walli time in her adjustments💕

This is great! You are taking it slow and easy which is the way to go. Yes, this thread is like a mini handbook, lots of treasures here and it's no harm repeating your questions too which you may have miss out reading.

Keep up the good job and yes, continue to keep us updated.

Hard to believe you started this thread in Jan 2018. At lot has changed since then.
Thanks for all you've done for Walli, Joey, and all the others. :petcat::heartshape:
