I found baby kittens in my barn

I am still bottle feeding the kittens and by weaning I didn’t mean I wouldn’t give them KMR at all more like if they start eating wet food I would only suplement their diet with KMR ( they often had constipation due to KMR even though we tried different brands and when I spoke to vet she told me it’s very common thing and once they eat vet food and drink more water it should get better)

They are now 5 weeks old so I feel like it’s perfect time for them to be eating at least little bit of food on their own “The kitten lady” in her videos mentioned between 4 and 4.5 weeks kittens should be able to eat little bit of the kitten wet food and I was following her advice.
I have two good news today, first is that they are using the litter tray now and don’t potty outside of it I know as I have white puppy pads so whenever they used to pee it was very obvious, yesterday morning they just decided to use it and haven’t stopped since I know they are young and can still have little accidents which is fine but I’m just happy they are trying and the second good new is today they are drinking water from a bowl and they finally ate wet food from the kitten saucer today so yay
I will still monitor very closely how much they eat and will continue to feed them bottle but not as often as before. Btw kittens make so much mess when they eat wet food, luckily I use puppy pads so it’s easy to clean and once they master to eat the food without having their front paws inside a bowl I’m sure it will get less messy. It’s been hot for the last few days so I’m happy they’re drinking water as I often worry about dehydration. I ordered some nice toys for them to play with, I feel like they will like them now that they are getting really playful

Yes it really is. I was so worried about them and now I feel like I can just enjoy them
I still worry sometimes but it’s not as bad as I used to be. It was so scary when they were so little ‍ still can’t believe it’s been almost 5 weeks since I found them it still feels so surreal

Yes they are doing well. I no longer bottled feed them as they don’t really want it and they are eating very well on their own. They use litter tray now and no longer have any accidents which is great. I will take some new pictures tomorrow as it’s after 11pm now and they’re sleeping.
