Put them together when you can watch them. Separate the suckler at night and give it a cloth with a corner dipped in kitten milk to suckle. Also give it a plush toy to snuggle and possibly suckle. I had a kitten once who suckled a teddy bear her whole life. She made biscuits on it and suckled for comfort.

If this is the only vet available, be persistent about getting help for the kittens. It is your money, so if one of the kittens needs something it should be administered. Very young kittens can survive with care which you are certainly trying to give them.
I second that 100% It’s maddening that the vet of all people is not supportive. Demand any meds the kittens need!! You are doing a great job and neonates can and DO survive. My cat and his liter mates were abandoned at 1-2 days old and a wonderful foster family cared for them just as you are caring for your babies. Victor is 2 years old now. He is a heathy beautiful boy.

They are currently separated I will do as you say and keep them together only when I can keep an eye on them
It’s a good idea with the plush toys I will order one for each of them they have also soft blanket rolled which they like to snuggle with
I can’t believe they are 3 weeks old already what a roller coaster it has been
They are getting more active now and in a week or 2 they will be ready to start eating solid food (I’m little worried about it)

Yes my experience with the vet has been really bad and because she didn’t take the situation seriously we lost a kitten. Luckily I now found very good vet, it’s bit far from me but at least I know I can trust them. The antibiotics made such a big difference they are so much stronger and healthier now. They have big appetite and they’re finally gaining weight properly
They are gorgeous so soft and fluffy

Unfortunately one of the kittens passed away on the way to the vet. The other 2 kittens were examined and they have infection
Vet give them injection and I have antibiotic drops to give them every 12h
I also have bottle of GI rehydration so I have to give them 2-3ml every couple of hours as they vomited today so they are dehydrated. I also received panacur dewormer I have to give the 0.15ml daily for 3 days starting tomorrow
At the moment just have to wait and hope they will fight the infection
They are so tiny it’s not fair that they were born with such a bad luck, first they lost their mother now they have health issues. Poor little babies
At least this vet was very nice and actually spend about an hour making sure they were ok and prescribed them proper medication
So sad you lost one praying for others to pull thru. Good you found a caring vet and a caring online community.

I will. I’m thinking about weaning process so if anyone has any suggestions please feel free to share. When is best to start? What type of food is the best as I will have to get it ordered so I need to start buying food so it will get here in few days.

Kittens update

They are doing good, they are 4 weeks old now and I am weaning them very slowly
We had issues with constipation because of the KMR but little bit of pumpkin it’s been helping a lot. I have also dewormed them
They are really active now, I got playpen for them and they are running around it. I will start littler training also this week. I can’t believe it’s been a whole month since I found them
I am happy they survived and still sad for the ones who didn’t make it

N Newbabykittens You have done an incredible job in a very difficult situation. I am sorry you lost the two , that is very difficult. But be proud of how far you brought the other two. You worked very very hard.❤
To Sarthur2 Sarthur2 and StefanZ StefanZ you are both an amazing resource! If I find myself in a difficult kitten situation again I will be on here asking for your input and advice 💕

Thank you 😊 I couldn’t have done it without all of the support
My kittens are doing good, I am trying to wean them let’s just say it’s going slow and so messy
I have to give them bath. They are still not comfortable to eat from a saucer they will lick little food from my fingers but that’s about it.
I am still bottle feeding them with KRM and wet food mixture. I also gave them litter tray but they pee next to the litter tray on puppy pad, I’m not worried they are still only 4 and a half weeks old so they have tokeand they are in playpen with puppy pads so it’s not like they’re making mess everywhere
I’m hoping they will learn to use litter in the next couple of day but currently I’m focusing on trying to get them weaned. I will attach pictures of my two little girls, if anyone ask one is less fully because she lost lots of fur because of sucking and now her fur is growing back and her sister don’t suckle on her anymore vet told me now to worry and let the fur grow back naturally

(they have lots of teddy bears but they are being washed today and it’s a hot day and I make sure their area is clean so I wash everything often)
