On any other forum this post title would raise some eyebrows!

Anyway, the other day I came home and found a little pile of very loose stool on the bottom shelf of a bookshelf. I could tell it hadn't been there too long, but kitty seemed fine. Her litter box habits are good. She has never gone outside of her box, and aside from a stubborn bout of diarrhea when she was a kitten, her stools in the box are usually solid.

It hasn't happened again, and her behavior has been normal. Is this just an anomaly or something I should be concerned about?

I would not be too concerned unless it starts happening more often. Would you run to the emergency room if you had a minor bout with diarrhea?

Where I live, I would think twice about running to the emergency room if my arm fell off.

I was actually a little concerned that I wasn't too concerned about it. As I said, her behavior has been fine. No more diarrhea since then.

I was just wondering if her doing that rang any alarm bells with anyone.
