Cats and kittens sometimes get into the mattress base (through a ripped hole in the lining) or under the sofa. It sounds means but try removing all food (for 4-8 hours) then making a big show about it being dinner time. Watch out of sight from around the corner yo see if your kitten comes out.

My first cat used to hide inside the bed springs. Not that I didn’t want him to go in there but it was inaccessible so, in case of emergency, I might not be able to get him out if I needed to.

My solution was to simply take off the whole underside lining. It was ripped, anyhow. Even though he could still go in there, I could reach him if I needed to.

Eventually, he stopped going in there because it wasn’t a secluded place, anymore.

If there is a place you don’t want your cat to hide out, I suggest finding a way to make it a little less cozy so that he won’t want to go there, so much.

You can build a frame around the base of your bed or use plywood to block off the under part of your mattress.

I think handymen call it unders but basically you want boards cut to size. Someone a hardwood store should help you. They can help you block off under the couch to.

I’m glad you found your wee terror of cuteness!

My kittens used to go behind my dresser and climb into the drawers.

Oh my goodness brings back a terrible memory, funny now I suppose

When Graycie was little she was( still is) a very quiet little girl- so quiet you barely know she's around sometimes-sweet as they come

I walked by a dresser & one drawer wasn't closed fully so I pushed on it-wouldnt close properly? So I proceeded to slam it and it still wasn't shutting so I slammed it a few times before realizing something must've fallen behind it- when I pulled out the drawer there was little Graycie just balled up after being pounded!!!!My little darling was just fine by the GRACE of God......

Kittens,they can get into anything
