The vet isn't open yet but I'd like to put something on a scrape that Emma got last week and I didn't notice until yesterday. She crawled through the ductwork in our new house by going in one of the uncovered vents and I assume she got cut there but we didn't notice it until Sunday. It's on the inside of her leg, near her crotch. It's a scrape, not bleeding. It's red and she's licking it some. Anything I can do today?

If you have neosporin or some sort of antibiotic creme, you can put a little of that on her. Just remember, whatever you do put on her, she will lick off so make sure it is not toxic to her.

Do you think there's an urgency to her scrape? Should I wait a bit to see if it gets better or do you think it'll just get worse?
