I'm just wondering if anyone has had experience with cats lashing out and fighting each other when they are jealous of which one is getting more attention from their care giver?
Felix and Fayola get along better than I thought. Felix even tries to play with her but whenever she gets close to me, he will slap her in her face and her butt as she runs away but he won't chase her all the way. Just enough to get her away from me.
I don't know how to handle this. I don't get upset with him or anything and I try to give them equal time but whenever I'm petting Fayola or cuddling with her, Felix will stare at us from a distance for however long we are together. When I try to pet him or do anything after that, he slaps me and makes the noise he makes when he doesn't want me to touch him.
