How to get rid of cat hair?

Hey all! Well as my kitten is turning into a cat he is shedding more. I have tried vacuuming my couch but I can't get the hair off. How do you all rid your furniture of the shedding hair?

I tried using used wax strips, they are a miracle.

If the surface isn't delicate, I wrap duct tape into a loop, sticky side out, and use that to pick up the hair. For more delicate surfaces, masking tape.

A damp wash cloth works really well (but what do you do with it then! LOL) I too pick up my whole vaccuum and run it over the cushions, the hose and attachment I use on the vertical ones. That 'furminater" works really well too, it's got a handle and a kind of 'hook' pad , I found it at Walmart a few years ago, I think it's made by Scotchguard.
