How many of your cats can you get to purr at the same time?

Just wondered if any of you have tried this. I have three: One has a good loud purr, the other is okay and the third, well, you often have to put a finger on his throat and feel for the vibration. He takes a lot of effort to get going. I only seem to be able to get two purring simultaneously. I just don't have enough hands to do any better.

All three, every time I get home from work or after being away for a period of time. It has also happened where all three were sleeping on the couch and I took turns scratching/petting them all. They are usually not all sleeping together, so that has only happened a couple of times.

Graham is the one who purrs majority of the time. But Bourbon has the loudest purr. In bed at night, it also does sound like a purring contest.

We have 4 cats and there are two of us. We can each get two of them to purr at the same time. The only time all 4 purr at the same time is on the bed. But it is rare to have all 4 on the bed with us to sleep all at the same time.
