I have a very badly injured Treasure who wandered back into the bushes that are dangerous to humans and he hasn't ate since yesterday morning. I won't even be home today. I don't know what to do. I'm crying over this situation.

Edited to add: He just hobbled back to eat but knowing Treasure this won't be the first or last such incident so for future reference. Thank you. :)

As long as he is eating, there is hope. I have had cats refuse food for three or four days and have come back. I would recommend getting some Nutrigel, a very high calorie, high nutrition gel in a tube that helps them recover. Make sure it is for cats, I get mine on Amazon. i always keep some around. I mix it in their food, but it can be applied to their paw or fur to be licked off. But I have found very sick cats don't do that and it leaves a mess. Beat an egg yolk and offer it to him, mixed in tuna juice, etc. that is nutritious too.
I am so happy he is back!!!

Thank you so much. I'll look into that. I hope he learned his lesson but we're talking about Treasure so I just want to know for next time. Thankful he's outside resting now although I hate leaving him for 5 or 6 hours.

BTW: he took off again so I guess he's feeling a bit more chipper.
