My cats have eaten all or mostly dry food their whole lives, partly because my schedule is variable, partly because for a while they turned up their noses at wet food.

i can reliably feed them at the same time each night, but earlier in the day that is not possible. Will it matter if I put it out at variable times? i usually leave for work a little before ten, so most days I could put it out then. Some days I come home for lunch, some days I don’t. If I do, it‘s usually around 1:30 to 2:00. I would still always have dry food available so that if I don‘t make it home for lunch they still have food available.
