):

Bean Rock, AL
Beehive, Alabama
Billy Goat Hill, Alabama

Toadvine, Alabama- had a friend in college from Toadvine! There is even a book...

Trickem, Alabama
Vocation, Alabama
Yelling Settlement, AL
Zip City, Alabama

They did leave out Palmer and Remlap- the Palmer family apparently had a falling out, so the disgruntled ones moved and named their town Remlap (Palmer spelled backwards
).

And the town we live in used to be called "Jugtown" (they made jugs lol), and they drew the new name out of a hat (from a few finalists)
.

The town I live in is called Plano but is mispronounced. (It should be pronounced Plahno.) It is a Spanish word meaning flat. There are virtually no hills. Another Dallas suburb only a few miles away that is Spanish in origin is called Las Colinas which is the opposite of Plano (The Hills). Yep, it is hilly.

I love the hilly areas in Texas! Magnolia is so flat...but wooded and foresty...almost like not being in Texas at all!

Oh, you forgot Jacksonville in the list of reasons why you don't need to go to other states!
That's where I'm from - middle of nowhere East Texas.
