How do you feed a new cat?

Please tell me how to feed my new cat. Do we feed our 10 week old persian hard food or soft food? Do we alternate? Please help.

I moved this to the health forum so more people would see it. It is debatable what to feed our cats. We have discussed it in length in this forum awhile back. I personally do not feed wet food. It makes their poop stink, their teeth rott and it's high in fat. As long as you make sure they get plenty of water, theres no problem. The best dry food to feed them is Eukanuba. It is the most balanced cat food on the market. You can also give snacks. That is discussed as well if you have time to go back and read the food posts.
