How do you become a Moderator or an Advisor?

It looks like you have to be recommended by a current moderator/admin.
Just hang out here and be yourself. If you are someone who posts a lot and has helpful suggestions to other people's questions, the current team members will start to know your name, and when the need for new advisors or moderators arises again, those are the folks who will be considered. You just joined in July, so it will be awhile since you need to be a member for at least six months.
