From youtube or to a post?

There's a little icon like a strip of film in the toolbar (two on from the emoji icon). Click on that, then enter the video URL and click 'insert' 
If you click on the icon that looks like a film strip it will popup a box where you can enter your link. The video must be hosted by another site still, You can't directly upload a video to TCS.

yada yada yada, and just what does "paste it"' mean anyway? People need to talk in plain English not computer talk.
When you want to link to something (whether that's a video, a webpage or an online photo) you need to go to that page, copy the URL/address - look in the address bar right at the top of the page - highlight it with the mouse, then right click and select 'copy' or hold down 'control/command' and 'C' on the computer keyboard. Then, come back to the thread you want to post in, click the video icon/picture icon/link icon and hold down 'control/command' and 'P' or right click and select 'paste'.
Does that make sense? (I know I'm not the best at explaining these things
)
