I want a signature under my posts? How do I do that? I've been searching through my profile, preferences, my info......no luck. Or is it there and I'm having a blonde moment?

How do I make a signature?

At the top right corner of the page you should see your username. There is a blue downward pointing arrow next to your username. If you hover the mouse cursor over the blue arrow a drop down box will appear and you can select the Edit My Signature option.You can also go to your profile page and way at the bottom there should be Your Forum Signature and an option to edit it.

Hi, I'm having the same problem. I see the option to edit my signature, however when I click on it, it comes with a pop up that I'm not permitted to complete that option. Help?
I think it might have something to do with the number of posts that you have. You are still very new with only 10 posts. I think options become available as you get more posts accumulated.
I don't know if you can even put a signature into your posts. Since we moved to this new forum software I haven't seen any picture signatures in anyone's posts. In fact I haven't seen any signatures at all.
Hopefully a Mod or Admin will come along and clear this up for you. If you are able to use a picture signature, I do 3D graphics, so I'm pretty good at making them and used to make them for people on the old forum.

I can see signatures in posts. Maybe your forum preferences is currently set to hide all signatures? Double check by clicking on the blue arro next to your username at the top right corner of the page and selecting Preferences. Under the Forums section, there is a line that says "Hide user signatures" and a box next to it. If the box is checked, uncheck it and save the change.
Check whether you're on the mobile or the desktop version of the site. The mobile version doesn't show any signatures. There's a button at the bottom of the screen that allows you to switch from one to the other.
I am on the Desktop version of the forum. I did check my preferences and it was set to hide signatures. However, once I checked to display them, I went through the busy "name the next tune" thread in The Lounge forum, and all I see for signatures is text and emoticons. I don't see any picture signatures.

You can't display that type of signature on this platform, though you can show it in your Community Profile. Otherwise, the link Columbine provided tells you what can be included in a signature and how to do it.

But that doesn't explain why I haven't seen anyone with a signature in their posts. Are you able to put a graphic signature such as this in our signature like we were able to on the old forum? And if not, what type of signature can we have?

@jcat, how did you get the Friends with Feral picture in your signature?
I guess one workaround is to upload the picture to your Album and then add the album to your signature as described at http://www.thecatsite.com/a/signatures-and-showing-stuff-off
