, there are fasteners you can place above that shelf to strengthen it (so they will be invisible from below). Just FYI, if this applies to your situation.

It seems like it would be so easy for her to roll over and roll right off. She never has, so it's prolly just me. I actually added the shelf specifically for her.
If she hasn't done that, she is very likely to be just fine. Our cats' biological ancestors are used to sleeping in trees.

Looks like the perfect size for her-highly unlikely she'd roll off her perch...... love it!
What is it with that paw-over-the-face move? I see so many photos of cats doing this while sleeping, and I see Willy doing it here, sometimes.
I wonder if it's like one of those human sleep masks, which are worn to block out the light.
