Have you tried using Pocket? That's what I use to read things later, even offline. There are some tips here:

You can also just C/P or drag and drop into your word processing programme. Most of them will save your attached photos and the site graphics as well as the text.

If you are using a Mozilla-based browser, it's easy peasy lemon squeazy to convert to .pdf:

File>Print and then you select "Print to file" and change the file name and location to what you want.
