I've got a friend that needs some advice. She has been battling hot spots in a family of 3 cats all related. There is no flea infestation and other cats from this same family are fed the same food with no skin reactions. So it doesn't seem to be caused by food or fleas. Anyone had any luck finding the cause of their kitty's hot spots and the remedy???

Where do you think?
A cortisone cream from the vet should clear them up are they drooling on themselves?

My Hector had a Hotspot that was caused by her drooling on herself.

No there is no drooling. Has anyone heard that a grain free diet is the answer??

Never heard of that myself but I feed grain free for a different reason it's the only thing Indy will eat and I don't think it would hurt to try.
