Just a few reminders with Christmas coming up:

Poinsettas and Holly are very toxic to kitteis.

Tinsel on the tree eaten by kitty turns to glass like substance in their systems.

Kitties given as gifts should be wanted gifts - not surpsises. If you are giving a kitten as a gift try this - make arrangements to pick up kitty AFTER the hussle and Bussle of the actual holiday - instead wrap a gift for the person getting the kitty including a picture of kitty, a new bed, a food dish, kitties have a hard enough time getting used to their surroundings as it is but the hightened excitement on Christmas day can be very scary.

Just a few things I thought I would like to share. Linda

I just read an article that states that poinsettas are NOT poisonous to anything including cats and dogs. They would have to eat some 300 plants to die. However it will upset the tummies. Just thought I would share the tidbit I found, I thought it was pretty interesting.

I think toxic doesn't necessarily mean lethal. Therefore some experts will tell you it's toxic and others will say that it's not THAT dangerous and all will be right.
